#1 Tell about what happened in the story.

So far, Cassie has been informed that her and her class are going camping!! Cassie is more of a lip gloss girly -girl. So, camping will be something new (and difficult) for her.

#2 Tell how you would react if you were one of the
characters in the story.

Okay if I were Cassie I would probably feel a little cranky and a little stupid for bringing heels for camping.

#3 Ask questions about things that confuse you or
that you wonder about.

I only have 1 question. It would be for Cassie. Okay, at the beginning of the book, you (Cassie) were having a “teal crisis”. You thought you didn’t like your teal pants anymore. My question is: why does it matter so much? They are just pants.

Link #1: T-S (text to self) Stevie-Rae has a problem with Aphrodite (who is mean), I have disagreements with people too. (Doesn’t everyone??!!)

Link#2: T-W (text to world) Aphrodite and her friends do bad things to people (they force people to donate blood so that they can drink the blood at their “Dark Daughters” rituals),crime is usually people doing bad things to other people.(example: kidnapping, homicide, assault)

Question #1:Why would all fledgings have bloodlusts?

Answer #1: They are all almost-vampires-that-are-still-going-through-the-change right? They want blood even though they are not the full-full kind.

Question #2: Why would Nefferet”s father treat her like his wife by abusing her?

Answer #2: I honestly don’t know but right now I’m just going with ” He is a creep.”

Question #3: Why do The Dark Daughters need to drink human blood when they could drink animal blood?

Answer #3: I think that human blood makes vampires or fledgings stronger because odds are the human is more healthy than a animal.

Q: Describe your favorite part.
A: So far, my favorite part in the book is when Zoey just got marked and her friend Kayla was freaking out. It was really funny.

Q: Describe a part that surprised you.

A: I was surprised when Zoey told her mom and step-dad (or as Zoey calls him, “step-loser”) that she was marked and they didn’t even respond to her. They just called a church group and worried about what the neighbours would think.

Q: Write a letter to the author or a character.

Dear Aphrodite,

Why are you so mean? Just because a guy rejected you does not mean that you should treat Zoey like poop. I hate you. For the record, Zoey is more interesting than you.

From,

Victoria

Hey,

Currently, I am reading “Marked”.Its the first novel of the “House of Night” series.

“Marked” book is about a girl named Zoey who is marked and becomes a vampire. If she wants too stay alive she has to go to the House Of Night where kids who are marked learn the skills of a vampire.

So far, I think its an amazing book.
